Current Groundlings Sunday Company member, Isabel Klein, is from Portland and makes people laugh in Los Angeles. Her solo show, SHOWSTOPPER, sold out at the Gilded Balloon during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
You might’ve caught her clinging to life as OD Girl #2 in ON CALL (Amazon Prime). She’s also part of an upcoming project with Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Her commercial credits include Spotify, Airheads, Dave & Buster’s, Sonic (the drive-thru, not the hedgehog), Ring, Android, Spotify, Gemini, Spotify and Visa—so odds are you’ve skipped her on YouTube.
Training includes Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, Groundlings, Second City in Chicago, and Pepperdine Fine Arts Division. She’s passionate about storytelling, improv, and sketch comedy.
An improviser since 2018, Isabel performs every Sunday at the Groundlings. She’s been on stage at the Hollywood Improv and the Comedy Store. She’s an Instagram / TikTok creator with over 30 million views. Isabel is also the director of the Improv program at Pepperdine University.
